Solar Inverter and Disconnects
The Solar inverter takes the Direct Current (DC) power from the solar panels and converts it to AC current, which is compatible with your household appliances and the utility grid.
Another function of the inverter is called "Net Metering." This is the law that allows you to put excess power generated back into the grid.
